Modern Body Art

Modern body art is a modern, friendly and hygienic tattoo studio in Birmingham city centre, owned and run by Matt Hunt and Jo Harrison since 1999. We offer the following services: tattooing, piercing, laser tattoo removal/reduction, cosmetic tattooing (eyebrows, lipliner and eyeliner) and we also sell cool tattoo related stuff! We sell gift vouchers for all these things. The tattoos are done by award winning Jo Harrison, Matt Hunt, Tom Devine, Andy Cryztalz , Rachel McCarthy and Glenn Patrick and we have two piercers, Rosie and Chris. We also regularly have guest artists visit (previous guests include Jeff Gogue, Derek Noble, Dennis Pase, Tim Kern, Jason Butcher, Beppe Shiro). We have thousands of designs to choose from, but we do specialize in custom tattoos and we love to do cover up work. You can bring in your own design, choose any of ours or have a one-off design drawn up for you. We are an appointment based shop but can often fit in walk-ins. We find that most of our customers prefer to book in so as not to be disappointed. Please note, children are not allowed in the shop due to the terms of our laser licence.
