Tim Orth Tattoos

My name is Tim orth, I have been tattooing for the past 13 years and loving every minute of it. Art, in all aspects, is my passion in life. This carries over into my tattooing especially. I treat tattooing as a fine art, trying to eliminate false pretenses of what a majority of people expect when the enter a tattoo studio. My goal is to create timeless art. In my work I hope to reflect current events and issues that effect us all whether they be social, political, religous or otherwise. I hope to illustrate our history as it happens from my own point of view for others to reflect upon in their own ways. I find the female form infatuating and have made it the focus of a lot of my work. I try to iconize women into celestial beings representative of nature, origin, motherly instinct, passion, lust, our own liberty and many other things. This is the type of work that I would like to focus on in the near future. I am sure that somewhere down the road my focus will change as events occur in my life. But this is where I am at right now. A mix of the old and the new as far as subjects, comparisons and being able to capture moments in time that are worthy of contemplation. I guess I am trying to stomp out the idea of walking into a tattoo studio and pointing to what you want on the wall. Not a new concept, but a new approach as far as intent. Art has always been a giant influence within society. I believe that tattooing can and should be a part of that as well. Having said that, if you are interested in participating in my project by being tattooed, I would be happy to share with you pieces that I would like to tattoo or feel free to share some ideas with me and we will see what we can come up with together.
