About Me
Studied Fine Art at University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. Graduated 1995. Started apprenticeship in 1994 under Royston Chapman and Frank Naude' at Quiet Bizarre Tattoos. I began tattooing around 1995. Came to live in the UK in 2000 after working my first major convention in 1999 (Dunstable Expo).
I currently have my shop in Cambridge, and am lucky enough to have three very accomplished tattooists, and an experienced piercer on board.....
I particularly enjoy tattooing religious imagery in black and grey, but understand the importance of striving to be competant and versatile in most areas of tattooing, whilst also knowing my limitations. I find it equally important to learn from others who are working around me, and allow myself to absorb their influence (even if it may be subconsciously sometimes).
I think that as a tattooist one should be improving all the time - and that the moment one thinks they've got it all worked out, it's probably time to quit :)
