Hallo there. I'm lucky to also be an apprentice. I still find it weird calling myself that after a year. I'll find it just as weird 3, 4, 5 maybe 10 years down the line

So what stage are you guys at in your apprenticeship? and how have you found it?

I come from an artistic family, studied Advanced Art & Design, and came in to this off the back of my custom airbrush paint jobs.
I actually expected to find it fairly easy and quick to pick up, but couldn't believe how hard it is!!

A lot of people think it looks easy but it's the well grafted artists that make it look easy.

It's just a stage you will have to go through with some patience i'm afraid. Is it lack of guidance or lack of patience that's making you feel down? For something that I would assume you would want to do for the rest of your life, waiting this period out will become remarkably rewarding. Nothing comes easy.

I'm almost a year into my apprenticeship and i'm only just starting to try little pieces. Thankfully with no A&E bills to pay haha
