Can I please print this off and keep it in the shop to show the next person who comes in with their "portfolio"?

Well said Nigel!

The idea was that every time someone with a "strong portfolio" comes on here whining, someone can direct them to this thread for a little perspective.

Stunning work, as always.

99.99999% of all the people on this forum (and elsewhere) currently looking for an apprenticeship just really don't have anything worthwhile to offer tattooing.

I just don't get it. People claiming to love tattooing soooooooooooo much.

Do you really love tattooing? Do you, in fact, love it enough to realise you're just not good enough, and do tattooing a favour by exploring other career paths?

I've decided that tattooing is a exactly what I want to do with my life. I've been a cinema technician for a couple of years and theres just no challenge to it. I believe I'm at the level to enter the industry and was wondering if anyone knew anyone contemplating taking on an apprentice in the Glasgow area?

You can find examples of my work at www.michaeldavidsonart.com please, let me know what you think.

I am no expert, but I like your original stuff. It has a very distinct style.

Whether that will get you the apprenticeship you are looking for I couldn't say.

Good luck tho.

Dave.
