Default New piece i'm working on. Thoughts?

Been working on this today, was frustrating at first, but kind of happy with it.

Problem area is the face for me.

Any critique?

Thanks.

At the moment, really cheap Daler Rowney water colours. In the market for something better just haven't decided.

Awesome man, jealous of your lines. When I paint I use ink for the blacks and get all that down first then I have a few Windsor and Newton watercolours which are OK. I bought a cheap set of watercolours at first and most of the colours were awful for the kind of painting I like to do.

I recommend the Dr PH Martin Radient watercolours, also bombay inks

Thanks man, have a W&N black that seems alright. Dr Martin is the way to go it would seem.
