hmmm, yeah I think with the wings, they may look strange because the green feathers sort of carry on from his (yes, I've decided your owl is a dude ) chest to his wings...if that makes sense? so, in a way, it kinda looks like he's wearing a jumper lol so it might be better if you put a bit of shading there?

Ryan keep practicing man and take your time. Stuff like the ram I don't see any harm using tracing paper to make sure your symmetry is there then switch it to the paper you want to use!

Here is my finished one for tonight, started another which i'll hopefully paint tomorrow!

Did this tonight. Not sure whether the black works but It was the only way I could prevent the whole flower looking flat. Realism is clearly not a strong point of mine.

i think this is really good mate, a lot better than what i could do for realism at the moment!

Wes, flower looks great, I think the black is just fine.

Ryan, Love the pattern idea on the koi, try maybe a thicker outline? Works for me to make things neat and stand out.
