Mmm, it could maybe do with some highlights to liven it up. Good stuff though, still! I quite often have a couple of goes (or more!) at the colour on the same design before I'm happy with it lol

thankyou! i struggle to get highlights in when using colouring pencils, i never really know how to pursue it, seems as when I'm doing a normal tonal drawing with graphite pencils, a putty rubber is my friend when it comes to highlights, but i don't get the same effect with colouring pencils, hmm. thank you for the pointers and praise
Okay yeah I'm new to all of this
But I've been given advice to start getting critique from people, and to get a portfolio together, and stuff like that
So here are a few pieces and um
yeah
I also got told to try drawing more things that are like something you'd actually get tattooed onto you, any advice would be welcome c:

Hey! I feel like you have talent but are kinda sloppy or in a hurry to get finished ( takes one to know one eep!) I can see the sketchiness of the lines which doesnt lend well towards tattoos. On the first piece you can see obvious time and work put into the eyes and then as the image moves outwards from the eyes the quicker and messier the stroke. The hair is really done messu with the lines making her hair look scarecrow straw like (not to be mean). Its good to have a nice solid flow and go with that raher than leaving individual messy strokes and white (white highlights are ok tho).
Same goes for second pic. Im actually liking the third not sure if its done however. I do think you shoild work on line work and ridding of most of the sketchiness for your tattoo portfolio. Jave a confident line. Be confident in your strokes . Also spend more time fine tuning and shading things.
