But you're right, it's good exposure and worth doing! I've had my facebook 'fan' page for a while now & it works well. You've got some LOVELY stuff on yours!

In fairness a watermark won't put someone off, I confronted someone who did it before and they said 'if you've put it on the Internet you should expect it to get stolen' :/

Trying to include at least one japanese design in my portfolio, just sketch this up, what do you all think??
It's alot more referenced than I would have liked so not sure if I should finish it and use it?

I say finish it and use it. remember that mentors are not really worried about your ability to make your own design at the moment. they are looking at ability to produce a good clean piece. even in your apprenticeship it will be a while before you do your own design anyway.
for the first few months of my apprenticeship I was not allowed to come up with designs, He had me tracing flash, shading it and coloring them, over and over again.
