keep getting many many skull requests these days.. this was a first tattoo for a french lass. the script reads 'Kill #9' i asked her the significance and she said it was because she was a killer. silly me haa.. this has been the month of the killer.
i am finding skulls are fun to do, i've not had many in the past but it seems they are replacing stars in terms of popularity (anything but stars can't be bad)
i was looking at all those glowing yellow disk eyes that a lot of folk do in their old school headbones.. thought, how can i break away from that generic feature that everyone seems to use... i had tried it on another skull a few months back- a piece i did for matthew ameys new skull project book - so i thought, lets try it with a tattoo! those wee details become obsessively important.
it was revealed to me when i was eating a starbucks sliced egg and mayo sandwich and it came to me like a money shot into an open mouth. or something hahaha
