Default Amsterdam Convention

Im looking to book up soon to go over to the Amsterdam convention.
Anyone know how far the convention is for from the airport? and city center?
Reason i ask is that im not sure which hotel is best for me to book. I usually stay in the radisson in the center when in amsterdam, but they are fully booked that weekend already Just got a quote from swisshotel, and they want silly money

Who else is going? and where you staying folks?

If it's by the Arena then I think it's about 5-10 minutes on the train from the Central Station. Am sure I went through there on my way to Amsterdam from Tilburg last year - I stand to be corrected though. Usually just jump on the train from Schipol straight to the Central Station so I might be getting confused.

It can't be much more than that from Schipol either I wouldn't have thought.

If you really get stuck then PM me and I'll get one of my friends to check it out.

Ironically, I'm staying at the Radisson next Saturday night. I usually stay at NH Hotels as my friend works for them and gets me employee rates.

as mentioned it is a few stops from Schipol airport. takes 10mins on the train.

the convention is normally held at Amsterdam Rai.

i normally get to the convention, but stay at my oldmans so i don't have to pay or hunt for digs.

Nice hotel, right next to red light/coffee shops, but away from the hustle and bustle. Spent 2 weeks in a business suite there, very nice
