Good evening...may I begin by saying a big FUCK YOU to the person I'm quoting here. Mike Marsh worked at my studio for a while but things didn't work out for either of us. He was NOT sacked. Within a week of him leaving I put his name forward to a friend who owned a busy studio in the next town looking for a tattooist and he got the job. He still works there three years later. Me and Mike are good friends and there has never been any bad feeling between us whatsoever. We're actually going out for beers this Friday coming.

I have been tattooing professionally for seven years and my studios have passed every local authority inspection with flying colours. Without exception. (I'll fucking scan all the reports if needs be) We offer a comprehensive follow up and aftercare service and nobody has received the problems this person decribes.

It's true, I have sacked on the spot a few tattooists over the years. My standards are high and if people turn up unwashed, under the influence of drugs, being unreliable, with rock star attitudes, doing substandard work, casual about hygiene issues, poor customer service etc then they can GTFO. I make no apology for that. If you have no integrity you have no business running a tattoo studio.

Here's a link to my Facebook page. Please make your own minds up folks. I'll never be Jeff Gogue haha but I'm trying to be the best tattooist I can be. You know?

Not sure if this link will work, but if not search Lucky Lady Tattoo Parlour on Facebook.

And exhale.

I popped to your website and I can't believe your 2012 portfolio is the work of some-one who's been tattooing professionally for 7 years

I've definitely seen worse work but I guess I would just expect more after that long in tattooing.

It really puts off even thinking about being tattooed by anyone with such a shit attitude, regardless of work.

But you do tend to find these days that the middle of the road, mediocre tattooists get very defensive very quickly and talk to potential customers like utter shit.

They have been found out, there are amazing artists out there putting the 'ok' out of business.

This is my opinion. If you are offended I don't care, offence doesn't hurt, you'll get over it.

Love and other stuff
