well I had to cut the hols short cos of the wilma thing going on.you wouldnt believe the damage shown live on the local news.ARSE! Still did the week in the city though.Fucking hell what a mad house!every shop has armed security,there is a cop every 20yards with a whistle and they LUV to use em.As do drivers with their car horns. I have never seen so much begging in my life,and after seeing some of the ????housing???? I am not suprised.restaurants are practically non existant coz everyone eats off stalls that people just set up on every street corner. Not exactly ideal for a family of three from Cardiff.
Day of the dead though is fucking unbelievable.offerings to the dead are set up everywhere,from a couple of sugar skulls too elaborate diorama type sets. Zocolo square right in the centre of the city is totally taken over with some breathtaking offerings that any artist would be proud of.And approx' 20,000 people over 2 days.
Food and booze is well cheap and there is an abundance of calavera styled crafts and such like. Most of which I think I purchased.
absolutely fookin knackered now,long flights are realy not my thing.I recomend you all visit this festival.
