I do these piercing like every second day and many of customers claim that it helps. I don't know what is exactly there, I don't believe in acupuncture but if it helps it helps either it is placebo or power of mind. I have heard it from other piercers as well.
It sometimes gets ridiculous when some piercers claim that they have measuring tools and "point maps".
My opinion that daith piercing looks cool and I can provide that and if it helps with migraine, anxiety or karma - take it as a bonus

That's exactly what it is. If it works for the individual that's great. Placebo has been proven to work even if the patient KNOWS it's a placebo. Fascinating stuff really. But no, it's not magic.
