Default Visible Tats

This is following on a bit from the thread lower down about Tattooed wrists. I think that visible tats are getting more acceptable. I work for a county council have a decent paid job and have never been pulled up on my head tats (I have a wild boar on one side and a skull on the other). The great thing about that is when I do have an external meeting coming up I can grow my hair. But I have noticed more and more visible in work places, for example seen a lad in Musiczone, quite a mainstream cheap chain of music shops working with knuckle tats. BTW there were the results of a Discovery real time survey which listed the most tattooed profession as Media and Marketing at 17%. Personally I'd have thought tattooists.

Yeah, I work for the NHS and I've never had a problem. That said, I work in a lab so don't have much to do with patients.

I'm in the public sector and mainly get interest about my tattoos - but I don't have much that is very visible - just poking from the top of my skirt or shirt, except in the summer when my ankle tattoo is visible. They tend to prompt the enquiry - how many do you have. (I hate that question! How do you count them?! ) But after the wrist one, lets see...

My palm one isn't noticed until I have to turn my hand up. My college fellows were telling me yesterday how they liked delicate little tatts, nice small girly ones, and how they were shocked when I said I wanted more coverage. I've got my upper arms done, but single tattoos not sleeves, a tiny one on my chest (and it really is tiny), the palm one, the crappy leg one that hopefully will get covered soon, and my small belly one - and they think I've got a lot of coverage already! I want MORE, goddammit, more I tell you!
