Course it was possible you just had to find the right tattooist that's all. This is my backpeice and it was done over fifteen years ago. (I just look younger than I really am). Great thread by the way.
wow, I've never seen your backpiece in the flesh TJ.
How has it aged out of interest?

That must have been pretty radical design wise 15 years ago

aww, and you have rock hair too.

....You're forgetting Rabid Butch Lesbian Vi I can tell you how many times there have been whispers about me in the pub because of ink on my arm. All I need now are my dungarees and hairy armpits and i'll fit their stereotype perfectly The boyfriend and baby may cause problems though haha.

P.S Bloody Hell TJ, I had no idea that was you! Nice hair by the way. You big girl hehe.

15 years ago i was still wetting the bed
i say that as if i don't do that now anyway
*ahem* but yeah.... I'd rather get some shit hot work today, and be slightly unaccepted but at the same time it wouldn't mean carrying stigma for the rest of my life than get inked 15 years ago and be negatively labelled a hooker/biker/lesbian/manky skank for the rest of my life...

...if that makes sense at all

not wanting to sound like a pompous twat, but i think there will always be two ideologies on tattoos for those that have them: those that are elitist and do their reseach; consider form & style; check out & go to reputable artists
AND
those that do not. those who just want a tattoo for its own sake which they are happy to decide upon whilst browsing thru a flash catalogue.

just my 2c

When I had my first tattoo (20 yeasr ago in June) you had to knock on the studio door to be let in, none of this walking in browsing malarky! I quite liked that, none of the chavc coming in off the street staring at the pretty colours!
