INK EXPLOSION - GERMANY
The Ink Explosion is a brand new tattoo show and is the brainchild of Andy Schmidt from Andy’s Body Electric tattoo studio. Andy has tried to bring not only a truly international selection of the best artists available but is also adding an extra day to the convention to give artists the chance to further their tattooing skills, with the Friday being a day packed with tattooing, seminars and workshops.
The Friday is open to the public but the seminars are only accessible to registered artists and include tattooing insights from Mike DeVries, Joe Capobianco, Tommy Lee, Andy Engel and Jime Litwalk.
Ink Explosion is to be held in the German town of Monchengladbach at the Kaiser Friedrich Hall (nearest airport is Dusseldorf). The attending artists list is amazing with the likes of Bob Tyrrell, Shane ‘Horinaka’, Bez, Jime Litwalk, Carlos Torres, Tony Ciavarro and Nick Baxter, plus a whole host of incredible artists from Germany. The show kicks off on the Friday 19th March at 15.00 and attractions will include pin-striping expos, ArtFusion, live music, tattoo competitions and fashion shows, along with the bevy of outstanding international artists plying their trade.
