I think about 90% of it is gash, and I think his linework could be better, which is not ideal when pretty much your entire style is linework. It’s not to my taste at all, but that aside I still don’t rate his skills.

I am in agreement with you on this one chuck; Not my taste at all and I have seen his work close up and dont think it is brilliantly executed. Still with regards to taste , his work certainly draws a crowd and he has a following and from what I have seen he is very busy, so it works for him.
Must say some of the ideas/concept behind the pieces I have seen can be quite cool for the fact that they are unusual and quirky in the main, although a few are far too obscure ,imo.
