Default Looking for tattooist comfortable with Biomech style.

As per the title realy, am looking for a artist who is capable of designing and doing a tattoo for me.

If I give you a sample of the style's / themes I like maybe it will help to push in the right direction.

I live in Bromsgrove (the birmingham area) and my local shop has gotten lots of credit from people I know who got solid black tribals, but ive yet to see anything with shading and the likes in it so wouldn't beable to tell how good they are.

http://www.themaxxtattoostudio.com/ is the site, and I havent had time to go down to the shop yet, but the gallery is on there (although the site is pretty aweful and the pictures are somewhat low quality).

As for the work.

Although I dont like the design overall (organic biomech no ty) the defined and curving shapes do apeal to me.

again organic and colored (I would want B+W only) but the defining shapes are good.

The next 2 are closer to how I would want the end result.

A pretty nice design overall, some stuff I don't like but its getting close.

This one is very close to what I would like.

Linked this because of how the edges are done and the spiderman costume realy looks "under the skin", which is what I definately want.

So, can anyone reccomend somewhere that you believe would be good? I am willing to travel resonably of course and im looking to get it on my back (maybe between A5-A4 size on the shoulder blade area).

Cheers

Yup, Gerry is a good bet and probably a bit closer then Steve Potton in Hadfield. Check out Steve though, he's awesome.

Cheers, I looked up Gerry Carnelly's work and couldnt find much black and white only stuff, his seems mostly in color so I couldn't get a real feel for his B+W stuff.

Steve Potton however, looking at some of his work, its realy inspired, definately a front candidate.

Any other suggestions?

Default Biomachanical

If you want a really good Bio look at Jason Butchers work. If you want to spend a bit more money then definately try Jack Ribeiro ron France! You can book with him for the UK conventions this year. His Bio work is awesome!!
