Default Human nature

Just wanted to share my experience of people this week. Two extremes of human character.

A few weeks back we had some 18 year old girls come in wanting their hands tattooed, like Cheryl Cole. We said no, because a) its on their hands and b) it falls out or spreads and tends to look shite.

They went elsewhere and had it done and then came back to us today complaining that it looked shite and could we please fix it. We said no, thats why we told you not to do it, you should have listened. They then got pissy with us and stropped off like it was our responsibility. Now isn't that like having a problem with a product from Sainsburys and going to complain in Tescos?

Second situation. A chap had a tattoo started by us a few weeks ago, session work. To cut a long story short, when he got home he realised we'd undercharged him and rang up today to explain and ask us to take the 20 off his credit card. Bless, how honest is that!

Its one of the crazy things about this job - some people are drive you nuts then someone else comes along and restores your faith in human nature

hahaha i like that :')

and aww! bless the guy

as for the girls, ergh it's their fault, if they decide they want another tattoo somewhere down the line and their tattooist advises against it, hopefully they wont be so ignorant and just realise that he/she is just telling them whats best!
haha some people :'). now they have something on them for life that they'll probably look at and think "i wish i listened to what i was told in the first place"

I talked a girl today out of getting her boyf's name, as she already thought aloud what would be best to cover it if they split up! GAH!

My FAVE of all time is, "I got this tattoo on my hand this morning, I don't like it, what can I do?" haha....

I can't stand idiot drunks wobbling into the shop, especially when they see you're a girl and try and 'tell you a thing or two' about tattoos. Gah!

Oh good god yes! I could write a book already, it amazes my how many utterly utterly stupid people there are in the world. Really I want to set up guidelines whereby old people over a certain IQ level are allowed to get tattoos!

My most effective response to being asked for that stupid tattoo is, 'when I meet Cheryl Cole I am going to kick her right in the fanny for getting a stupid tattoo.'

The girls mother was left somewhat speechless.
