Default Cover up Idea's.

I got this tattoo a few years ago, I have always hated it. The tattooist did a rubbish job. I need some idea's on what to cover it with, I went to a tattooist who's really good but said come back when you have a few idea's and we'll work on something.

I'm hoping you lot can give me some inspiration.

Btw, sorry about the pic, not the best one I could find.Cover up Idea's.-179229_157697660949809_8158527_n.jpg

the tattooist just needs a starting point on what you are into then he can usually work that into a cover-up-you have to give him SOME idea, say Japanese, the possibilities are endless, how could he possibly know where to start otherwise-he has no idea on your personality or what you are into.

I'm really into nature, I love the idea of birds and owls. I don't want to do the typical girl thing and get flowers and butterflies. I also like the idea of something musical or with a religious meaning. I'm pretty open to most idea's.

I think you give the person who did this on you too much credit by calling him a tattooist.

So your next step is to research- I think owls and birds sounds like a winner, plenty of detail,so if you went for that you now need to think if you prefer realism, or more stylised, new school/old school owls can be great looking for instance,so get googling. You don't have to worry exactly where it will go or how it will cover it, that's where the tattoo artists skills come in, he can advise you what will and won't work. Once you have printed out examples of things you like the look of, go back in to the artist.
