Question My new sleeve outline - undecided on shading

Hi everybody

I decided to do a sleeve as my second tattoo, my first one was a off the wall small symbol 14 years ago

I had these drawings a friend did of my family, sou asked a tattoo artist to make them int skulls, I am over the moon of how it came out

The brain/robot on top was also a custom design from a friend, it's been my personal logo for 10 years

Please let me know what you think

But now I am on the fence on the shading (coloured), the skulls style is a bit to the comic/toon, as I wanted, but the shading I want to be more 3d/depth, and I also want to do the entire sleeve, so unsure about the blank spaces, I was thinking of flowers to soften it up a little, any advise ?

I'm in London, and looking for advise on local artists to take the shading to the next level, the artis tha did the outline is very talented, but I am unsure on his shading style.

One other artist I saw that does seem to have some amazing shading skills is Endre from Tattooend, thinking of paying him a visit.

Thanks for any advise, I know I am being a bit vague :/

Dunno if it's doable, but I when I saw it I instantly thought of wiring and sparkles... black, blue, yellow, red, etc. wires with the copper shown at places and short circuits, and maybe some smoke coming out of them. It would be like the giant robo-brain is giving electronic life support to a bunch of skulls keeping them one whole!

Thanks, I understand what you mean, I do want the background to be a tie-in of the brain robot and the skulls

Do you guys/gals advise n doing each skull a different colour, or keep the skull faces the same eggshell/yellow/beige colour ? (bone colour) ?
