Default Cover up advice.

Hi,

Another question.. I had a gheko tattoo on my foot 3 years back - the photo is from when it was newly done, the feet have now started to merge so I want a cover up.

I have 2 ideas which I have been thinking about for the past year, but needed some advice from someone with a bit more tattoo knowledge that myself on what will be the easiest design for going over this as it is quite a solid tattoo.

I am wanting a ankle bracelet and on the end, attached either (covering the gheko) a feather or compass, both ideas would be a black and white.

Many thanks for any advice given.

Lol.... Standard stock reply for cover up questions coming up....

Don't think "what will cover this". Instead think "what tattoo do I really want" then discuss with your chosen artist. If need be, get a couple of sessions of laser to lighten it first.

Due to the heavy black, it may have to be something significantly bigger than the original tattoo - something covering most of the top of the foot! A compass design could work, maybe, but it would have to be quite dark...
