religious tattoos too common? reccomend any artists? Yorkshire
hey people,
i am sure this questions has been asked a million times on here but i am looking at getting a half sleeve done with a kind of good vs evil theme so the relgeious style, i have been trying to find the best artist for this, a lot of the good ones i have asked have stoped doing this kind of theme as they find it boring with so many people having it done.
can anyone recommend anyone?
Paul Goss looks good at Artisan tattoo studio, anyone heard of his work?
oh and i am in Leeds but dont mind travling a bit for the right dude.

Good vs evil is getting more popular for sure. But it is important to find the right artist for what you want.

Couple of artists i would say are very good at this sort of stuff is meehow but you would have to travel to essex.

Failing that you can't get better than Lowrider tatoo from LA they come to uk a couple of times a year. They are coming to London tattoo convention in September.

Google Jose Lopez, Jun Cha, Miguel Ochoa and Noah Minuskin and you will see some amazing work on their websites.,d.d2k,d.d2k,d.d2k,d.d2k

hey thanks for the advise, that is exactly the kind of thing im after, in fact it is a Jun Cha tattoo that i would like doing, his work is amazing but not sure who is the UK could do the same kind of work.
Meehow would be quite a travel but if he is the right guy could be could be worth it.
thanks for your help bud.

Meehow's work is exceptional. He is truly worth travelling for. Also John Anderton is amazing but into more dark stuff.

Jun Cha is insane. Have met the lowrider guys a few times and they are such a cool bunch. All so down to earth and genuine. What tattoo did you wan or what ideas do you have?
I wouldn't agree with copying a tattoo entirely or anyone especially someone as well known as Jun Cha. Obviously you can get inspiration and ideas of another artist.

Also Rose Price of Oragnic Element is great

Yeah definitely give Meehow a shout, his work is amazing, but do not copy someone elses tattoo, it is very disrespectful. Take reference and ideas, and get an artist to design you something original.

That's what i think. Copying someones tattoo exactly is not the way to go. Offcourse they are always going to be simmilar tattoos out there but try to make yours as unique as possible. There's a bunch of talented artists in the UK so i am sure you can find someone great to do the work.

Thomas Pollard is also excellent.

cheers guys, just had a look at Rose Price and that is indeed some cool work.

yeah i agree too with copying work, didnt want an exact copy, there are a couple of pieces i like by Jun cha, the below is one, I cant have a full sleeve though because of my work so though along the lines of the top part with the good vs evil, maybe the tail wrapped around the arm and changing a few bits, just that kind of look and i would ask the artist i went to to but his own twist in.

or i though of this one, i like the inside arm, and i thought have some kind of good figure like the bottom face on my shoulder and the skull like face on the inside of the arm.

but you get the idea of the kind of thing im after.

Thomas Pollard does look good too, your spoiling me with choices now, i would like to find someone a little closer ideally as i am sure i will have to make a few trips there from Leeds but it looks like travelling might be needed, its more important to find the right person i guess.
