Default Allergic Reaction - please help

Hello, my name is Dezarae. Yesterday I got my fourth tattoo. I told the art is I had a red ink allergy. He told me there was no such thing. I have red in my arm, but only about 2 inches worth of ink. That raised and toom about a year to fully heal. I got pink and it is about half of my foot. The pain I am feeling is unlike any of my other tattoos and the swelling is phenomenal. When I woke up this morning I didn't even want to walk to the bathroom. Should I follow up with my tattoo artist or should I go to the doctor? Has anyone else had a reaction like this?
- Thanks all for their input and advice.
Dezarae.

My foot was exactly the same and I have no reaction to specific colours . Just a lot of pain associated with feet tattoos

does the pain fade once you've been stood up for a while? when i got my calf done whenever i stood up all the blood seemed to rush to that part and it would throb and feel like it was going to explode but if i stayed stood up the pain would go away, i imagine if this happened on the foot it would be even worse

Feet can be horrendous for the first few days to a week, depending on the person. I myself have had to take several days off after work on my foot. Our apprentice was hobbling around for days pulling painy faces after getting his done.
Try to keep it elevated to keep the swelling down, at this stage I would say its nothing to worry about but check with your artist if worried.
