That is awesome! I think I've settled on the pose, and I actually stopped by the shop where my last one was done and dropped off that picture, as well as my thoughts. The artist there has been really good with me and people I know as far as making special designs. Anyone have thoughts on the backdrop? I don't want it just plain over skin, but I don't really want stand/crowds behind him either. I was thinking mist/fog something like that, but if anyone has ideas I'd love to hear them

Details like that are things you should talk to your artist about. As long as he's a talented custom tattoo artist his opinion on what will look good is at least as important as yours and definitely more important than ours. Who's the artist?

You wouldn't want too much as the focus is the player. You could have the ice and the stadium lights with the rest in darkness like the game was being played at night. Maybe a few twinkling lights in the crowd.

Yeah he hasn't posted the full one up yet but I got it from the skin art Magazine collectors chat lol
