Make money’ tattooing
I want to grow my clients base from
The crappy non tipping clients that want lil infinity signs and horoscope signs .and dumb shit like that .i pretty much want to close my business doors on that kinda shit . lol . But as professional tattooing artist We also want to keep in good character for the social media and public relations. Can’t discriminate the crap 💩
Would that be weeding out the 💩 .clients that want lil worthless tattoo for the low budget .
But here’s the catch
You got to get through the small ones to get to the big ones

I think the goal for an artist should be to improve himself. If you don't get better, you won't take bigger projects, so you won't earn a lot of money.
Plus the tipping story is ridiculous for the non american people.

I got tattooed a couple of years ago by a very well known artist. He worked in a well known high street shop and was sick of all the walk ins interrupting the artists' work wanting 'crappy' tattoos (the shop was full of well known artists with waiting lists). He ended up moving to another city and opened his own private studio. You wouldn't even know it was there (it's above a nightclub) and he only gives you the address once you've booked your appointment, so no walk ins, no interruptions, he just does the tattoos he wants to do.

But he could only do that because he is a great artist with a big client base and social media following, so he's in demand enough that he doesn't need to rely on passing trade. Unless you can say the same, you've got to suck it up.
