No, but I too am fascinated. I've sailed transatlantic a couple of times and the ships take a detour when they reach where she is sunk, they won't sail over her.

I’m from Southampton so there are a load of things you can wander around and see. Captain Smith’s house, the old White Star offices (now a pub ) and lots of graves including Fred Fleet who was the lookout on the night Titanic hit the iceberg.

He survived and worked on a number of other ocean liners before retiring. He then sold the local paper in town for a while. In 1965 his wife died and 12 days later he hung himself in his garden. Sadly his family never had enough money for a headstone, so his was an unmarked grave until the late 90s. After the film people became interested in Fred and the Titanic Society paid for a proper headstone. It’s an interesting part of the graveyard, he’s right next to a guy who got struck by lightning.

You can fit a good sized tattoo in that space. What would be the subject of your neo traditional tattoo?

Venice. I would like to do it at the point of the same size of the sailing ship, on the outside. Would the mix of different styles be fine?

That would be a cool tattoo but I would not place it so close to your ship. Maybe not on your arm but somewhere else, perhaps your leg?

Why not near to the sailing ship? I only tattoo my arms.
