Default Lightening advice please

Hi all - help please! I'm happy with this except for the blue colour - which I've always wished was a lighter/brighter baby blue.
Would it get good results to have the blue areas lasered and then re-done in a much lighter blue? And would the blue need to be almost completely gone to get the best results?
Thanks for any advice! second image is the day it was done (and I accept I've opened myself for football rivalry "laser it all" comments!).

In my opinion and experience with laser removal on blue I would not do that as blue is very hard to remove. But someone else might have had a better experience with getting blue gone. I would just leave it as it’s not that bad other then being spurs

I think it looks good. Laser is best avoided unless itís really necessary. Other things like packing in white over the blue will just make a mess.

How old is the tattoo? If it's fresh in those photos then I'm sure the blue will fade a bit naturally during healing.

Top photo is now, bottom photo was the day it was done (4 years ago)

A (reputable) tattooist tells me he can lighten it with white - would folk here agree?
Thanks

Sounds like a nonreputable trash artist to be honest.

Who's the artist who says they can lighten it with white? We can help you figure out if he is worth listening to. Many people come here and find out that the artist they thought was reputable actually isn't.

If he's not, and you tell us where you live, we might be able to point you to someone who can give you a better opinion on what's possible.

For the record, I'm skeptical about lightening it with white, but if you're artist turns out to be someone worth listening to, I'll gladly defer.
