Favourite tattoo styles- Japanese, traditional.
Gary has been working at Tattooz (formally known as Micky Sharpz)since the age of 20, working as an apprentice under Steve Hartnoll and Rich Pearson for the first 3 years, with a little help along the way by Micky Sharpz.
In 2009 Gary Stanley started building and designing custom, handbuilt tattoo machines. to date he has design may exciting and unique machines for may tattoo artists around the world under the name Black Rat. I would like to think that every artist I have worked with or meet along my journeys has taught me a valid lesson, so I would like to thank everyone for their help, advice and patience.
My main interests other than tattooing are golf and fishing as well as my passion for keeping marine fish and corals. If I’m not at work you’ll find me on the golf course or messing around near water.
