Default I'm new and need a cover up

Hiya, I'm Sarah. Not too sure if this is the right place to post this or not

Anyway, I've been trying for about a year to find a cover up tattoo for this :

I already know all of the stuff about getting names tattooed etc, but just wondering if anyone has any ideas?

I've been to the artist that did the tattoo originally and he says he "wont touch it" for a cover up.

I assume it has to be black ink to cover it? I don't know.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

he said the cover up would be far too big and so he wouldnt touch it.

I didn't understand myself so I just left.

see to me thats not a cover up at all! merely tattooing around the work thus disguising it!

traditional work is good for coverups because it has black shading in it. for instance, you could cover it with a big rose with a lot of black in the centre and colours towards the edge.

There's a fish at the bottom that's been covered up.

Sounds like the guy in question wouldn't cover up the name because a) he didn't know how, and b) he couldn't be arsed. Someone else will do you proud missus
