Default Inky Bed Sheets!!!!

No its nothing pervy sorry.....I was just wondering how everyone copes with the night after being tattooed.

My husband had his sleeve finished last weekend and managed to get ink on the under sheet, the duvet and the pillow case! Is there anyway of getting around this??

I'm getting my back started at Manchester next month, and am staying with Ian's Aunty for the night...I'm considering buying a cheap sleeping bag to take with me, cos I'd be mortified if I got any ink on her lovely bedding.

I haven't been tattooed in that long I can't even remember if I got ink on my sheets, but don't want to find out at someone elses house.

Anyone else have this problem???

I usually tell customers to put an old towel down on the bed when they are sleeping with the clingfilm on...as all the excess gunk tends to run everywhere

Yup, I have a pillow that's got a lovely turquoise star on it. Never came off. Best to wear a nighty after your tat OR, keep ckingfilm on it. I know it's a pain, but it's possible. Did it with Mrs Myths first big back session

Prehaps i have the clingfilm on too tight, but i never get any leakage.

Clean up ur arm, re-wrap with clingfilm and get some kitchen roll, fold this and place one at the bottom of the clingfilm and tape it around there...not too tight cos it's never good when you cant feel ur hand and it looks a naughty shade of grey. As for the top area, i would place n old towel underneath and wrap ur pillow in one also.

Tape some kitchen roll round the edge of the clingy to catch any drips...I usually do that with customers who have their white work shirt on when they come to get tattooed. The plonkers.
