Bloody airbrushed to hell women on the cover of Skin Deep can't they put men on the cover or shock horror a normal loking woman! Or learn to use Photoshop properly, when i is used properly you shouldn't be able to tell it has been used.

I think they should start putting tattoo artwork on the cover instead of people. I haven't liked any of the covers this year.

I'm afraid it just wouldn't work.

Say for example, you put someone like me on the cover, a size 16 woman with a fair amount of coverage & then they put a woman who is a size 8 with less tattoos. That size 8 woman would sell more copies because she is deemed to be more aesthetically pleasing. Its just the way things are. As was mentioned on here numerous times, sex sells.

Totally! Putting the kind of artwork we see in the impressed thread on the cover would make a far greater impact.

The covers they use now do nothing to expell that whole seedy underworld tattoo image. If they want to turn heads using a female, then feature Bez's Geisha on the cover, then jaws would really drop!
