Mine was also the same for 7-10 days! My "ditch" was so swollen that I could barely bend my arm. The tattoo healed perfectly although it looked very unhappy whilst healing! :)

You might be more comfortable just going home. You will wake up in the hotel the next day covered in fluid and be in pain/swollen. Then you'll have to try and clean all this up and make your way...

I love the octopus, it's well done. Definitely cover up those stars - don't attempt to fix them (in my opinion! of course it's your body) so that you can keep the tattoo caliber high.

It's very rare for laser to remove a tattoo 100%. Tattooed skin will never go back to non-tattooed (e.g. damaged) skin.

Look at London Tattoo Convention artists. Many will be in London for a few days before and after so it's worthwhile trying to get an appt. here.
