Well after months of going back and forth, I have finally booked in for my first laser session

If you're definate on the Koi half sleeve and colour I would say in my humble opinion that you don't need laser treatment. There are some great coverup artists out there who could do it easily and well without painful and costly laser treatment.
If I get a chance I'll post up my before and after coverup.
Checkout Karl Thornton-Rice at - Danny Fuller's Red Dragon Tattoo and Body Piercing Studio - his coverup work is excellent.

I'm with tobyc on this, a good cover-up tattoo artist is all you need. Have a look at Creative Art's, Glasgow site and have a look at the cover-up album - you'll see what can be done without laser treatment.

I am so confused on what to do now! This is driving me nuts now, I thought I was doing the right thing with laser.

Probably because the guy with the laser machine told you you were doing the right thing lol.

Don't be confused, go visit in person some great tattoo artists who are also interested and good at coverup work and see what they think. Good luck!

That's what I'd do - why pay all that money for laser removal when you could just invest in a terrific cover-up?

Go and see a recommended tattooist, one that's good on cover-ups and at least just have a dicussion first. It'll save you a lot of money and pain in the long run.

Whereabouts are you and how far are you willing to travel? Someone will be able to help then.
