If you get your ink zapped, how long would you need to let it heal before tattooing again?

I've seen both sides of the laser outcomes, the nice neat lightening of the tattoo, and those go awful blisters.

To me the big cover up of the tribal is good for what it is covering but you can still blatantly see the original tattoo.
I would get it lazered if you can still see it how dissapointed are you going to be?
Never ink in haste.

If the laser work is done correctly you wont get blisters.
I recomend 2 months minimum 3 months if possable before re-tattooing

Yo guys,

so I sat for a full day on Sunday and got most of the cover up finished.

Got about a couple hours left to colour in the roses round the back of my arm, but here's a pic so far. The cross is covered in the clouds to the right.

Wow! I LOVE that owl and I didn't think I was a big fan of traditional work. A really good cover up too.

Who did it for you?

Oops sorry, just spotted it was Jo at Northside.

Yeah man, soooo pleased with it.

Yeah I got it done by Jo Hall at Northside tattoos. I just went to see her and said I wanted a cover using a traditional owl and was happy to let her have creative control over the design and size.

Well, I hate to draw attention to the fact I was right about laser being unnecessary!

But seriously, I'm glad you got what you wanted, Ape

Yeah if u want a massive black blob on you arm?which is how its covered up ? I love the owl but with a laser session or two (yes I'm having it done) the owl would have covered , no need for massive black blobs
