Default my 1st tattoo as an apprentice

Hey all,

Thought I'd post the tattoo I did on one of the artists in my shop. It's the 1st one I've done one someone other than myself. Mint green was so hard to get in the skin, can hardly see it. Not really a colour i plan on having in my palette any time soon.

the skull was taken from Jason Butler's flash sheets, artist based at retribution tattoo in Brownhills, Walsall.

The sculpted outline is a little wonky but overall very solid

Nice start! There's some good detail in for such a small area, especially for you first tattoo. Keep it up.

Cool, congrats! Looks well done!

If you look at it critically yourself, where would you want to improve? Do you think you could do it even better next time?

i'd like to improve both lining and shading. Lining: power lining accuracy and control my depth better. Shading: a smoother transition from dark to light or from one colour into the other. I'm a bit obsessed with smooth blending. The mint green didn't seem to go in as well as I wanted it to.

I HAVE to do it better next time.

Thanks all for the comments, much appreciated.
