Thatís great, glad he said six months healed as a lot of the healed work shared seems to be from two weeks ago!

I think it's a great idea. Paul doesn't want it to be a witchhunt but fuck that shit. Highlight the lack of photos and post it everywhere.

I propose someone keep a list of well known artists that don't participate on top of this thread and keep updating it

Otherwise this just stands to hurt honest artists and give the advantage to people that don't post and will push even more people to altering photos more and more.

I'm going to try to post some camera phone selfies of my work and use #truetattoochallenge. It'd be awesome if that takes off and people have an easy way of seeing unfiltered tattoos.

It'll probably die down in a couple days and everyone will forget about it but I'm idealistic so I'll support the cause in hopes that it becomes a thing.

instead of being negative about this situation, why not take the healed photos from the artists who participate in this challenge and post it in the thread instead.

there are a lot of great artist whoís work heals tremendously well and they still shop their work.

The sad thing is that it should be such a ridiculously easy "challenge".
How can a tattooist NOT have six photos of healed tattoos.
Yet so many have become huge names, charging rip-off prices yet never showing what their work actually looks like. It just shows how powerful social media is as a marketing tool.

I'll happily take part in Paul's challenge. I'll try and look throughly photos tomorrow.

This only stands to hurt honest artists. An average person out there will only see the less-amazing healed work and compared it to the photoshopped work from others. It can only backfire unless more people participate. And you can see that hardly any popular artists are posting and few posts of color tattoos at all.
But there's Philgarcia going off the deep end and posting an average BnG piece.

Here's an example of whose work I've seen in person and it's quite mediocre. It looks NOTHING LIKE this. He's gone from no followers to 60k in less than a year photoshopping his work to no end.

When your blacks look blacker than fucking space, you're full of shit.

I've also seen some Saga work in person, albeit it was only a couple pieces, they were super impressive.

Sure would be nice to see some healed photos...Out of his 400 posts, surely a few of them could be healed...oh I dunno how about 6?

I'll try to take some shots of his work when he will be working at a convention I'll be at in July. Hopefully he will be working on an existing piece that has already healed.

Phil Garcia popped up on a sassy Mechmaster Mike post calling out Ďultra realismí artists. A few people tagged Phil and were telling him to post healed roses. He told them where to go and then posted his frog. I canít see any average B&G? Mike has since deleted his post as I think itís caused a bit of trouble.
