By the time you read this Christmas will be nearly upon us. If you are stuck for a present for a loved one, why not send them a subscription to the UK’s best selling tattoo magazine?

Here at Skin Deep we are not ones to sit back and rest on our laurels and we are constantly trying to improve the magazine. And as such from issue 156 (on sale 5th February ‘08) there will be a FREE supplement is EVERY issue giving you, the readers even more for your money. So from issue 156, Skin Deep will increase to eighty-four pages every four weeks, producing thirteen issues a year.

Not content with this we have also taken away the UK postage and packing on all magazines including back issues of Skin Deep and Skin Shots International, which are now the same price as current issues. 

Next year brings us the advent of a new season of tattoo conventions in the UK. Kicking off the tattoo show calendar is a brand new show to be held in Brighton, then there’s pretty much a convention every month until Christmas ’08. Some say they are too many shows in Great Britain now but I’m heartened by the increase, it shows that the tattoo scene is growing ever stronger. If you are an organiser of a tattoo convention send your details
to us and we’ll put them in the ‘Tattoo Tour’ section of
Skin Deep.

Talking of new shows next year Skin Deep has finally taken the plunge and will be hosting Tattoo Jam over the weekend of 1st-3rd of August. Tattoo Jam will be held on the North Wales coast in a very picturesque town called Llandudno. The show will be held over three days with the Friday being an artist only day with tattoo related seminars and the Saturday and Sunday will be for the public. We will have over one hundred international tattoo artists plying their trade and much, much more besides.
